Qhawekazi Mazaleni was born in 2001 and grew up in a suburb of East London in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. She attended Beaconhurst High School. After finishing school, she earned a degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Therapy from Stellenbosch University and later pursued a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Pretoria.
