Mike Ezuruonye (born September 21, 1982) is a renowned Nigerian actor, director, producer, and writer, celebrated for his versatility and significant contributions to Nollywood.
Early Life & Education
Born in Lagos State, Nigeria, Mike hails from Uzuakoli in Abia State. He is the eldest of four siblings. After the passing of his father, his mother took on multiple jobs to support the family. Mike attended Federal Government College, Wukari, Taraba State, and Archbishop Aggey Memorial School, Lagos. He later earned a degree in Accounting from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State.
Career
Initially working as a banker, Mike transitioned into acting in 2003 after being introduced to the industry by producer Ruke Amata. His debut role was in the film Broken Marriage, which brought him into the limelight. He has since featured in over 100 films, including:

In 2016, Mike made his directorial debut with Divorce Not Allowed and Brother Jekwu. He also attended a film school in Canada to hone his directing skills.

Personal Life
Mike met his wife, Nkechi ‘Keke’ Nnorom, a Canadian-based medical psychologist, in 2009 during a movie shoot in Abuja. They married in November 2010 and have two children:
- Reynold Nkembuchim Ezuruonye, born October 1, 2011, in Canada.
- Elsa Osinachi Ezuruonye, born in September 2016.
In 2019, Mike underwent eye surgery due to complications from prolonged exposure to harsh movie production lights.
