Early Life & Background
Emman Atienza was born on February 8, 2006, in Manila, Philippines. She was the youngest daughter of Filipino television host Kim Atienza and Taiwanese-Filipino educator/conservationist Felicia Hung Atienza. She had two siblings: Jose III and Eliana. Growing up in a family known for media and public service, Emman developed interests early in art, fashion, fitness, and creative self-expression. She completed her secondary education at the International School Manila and later took a design course at the Parsons School of Design Summer Academy in New York.
Career & Influencer Work
Emman became active on TikTok and Instagram where she shared lifestyle, fashion, and candid personal content. Her blend of humor, authenticity, and relatability earned her a growing following among Gen Z audiences, and she was nicknamed “Conyo Final Boss” for her humor, fluent English accent, and digital presence. She strengthened her modeling and creative credentials by attending workshops with Farrah Models (Philippines) and Coco Rocha Model Camp (New York) and made her runway debut at a major Philippine fashion event in 2022. In 2023–2024 she joined an influencer agency and expanded her platform to include mental-health advocacy, body-positivity and open discussions about bullying, self-worth and privilege.
Advocacy & Personal Struggles
Emman was open about her journey with mental health from a young age, revealing diagnoses such as bipolar disorder, ADHD and complex trauma. She said she began therapy at age 12 and used her social-media presence to encourage others to speak up about their challenges. Her advocacy work included founding or supporting youth-focused initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental-health issues and creating safe spaces for conversations among young people.
Passing
On October 22, 2025, Emman was found deceased at her home in Los Angeles, at the age of 19. Her family announced the news publicly two days later, describing her as someone who brought joy, laughter and love into their lives and to those who followed her. Authorities later confirmed the cause of death as suicide. Her passing sparked an outpouring of grief across social media and renewed focus on mental-health care for young people.
