Early Life & Background
Emmanuelle “Emman” Atienza was born on February 8, 2006, in Manila, Philippines. She came from a mixed Filipino-Taiwanese heritage. Her father is the Filipino television host Kim Atienza and her mother is Felicia Hung-Atienza. She grew up with two siblings, Jose and Eliana, and attended the International School Manila. Emman later took part in a design programme at Parsons School of Design’s Summer Academy.
Career & Social Media Presence
Emman became active as a social media creator, gaining a substantial following on TikTok and Instagram. Her content ranged from lifestyle, fashion and fitness to candid discussions about mental health and personal growth. She attracted attention for her stylish looks, her modeling workshops (including one in New York) and her debut on the runway in the Philippines. Emman used her platform to speak about wellness, self-expression and resilience.
Advocacy & Personal Challenges
Open about her own journey, Emman shared that she had experienced bullying, mental-health struggles, and sought therapy during her teenage years. She spoke out about diagnoses such as CPTSD, bipolar disorder and ADHD, and emphasised the importance of removing stigma around mental illness. She founded an initiative named Mentality Manila aimed at encouraging young people to seek help and talk openly about their mental-health experiences.
Passing
On October 22, 2025, Emman was found deceased at her home in Los Angeles at the age of 19. The news of her passing was confirmed by her family, who described her as someone who brought joy, laughter and love into the lives of those around her. Her death caused widespread grief among her followers and the wider online community.

Emman Atienza is remembered for her vibrant personality, advocacy for mental-health awareness and willingness to be vulnerable in the public eye.
