Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Arsenal faced off in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, with PSG emerging victorious over two legs to secure a spot in the final against Inter Milan.
First Leg: Arsenal 0–1 PSG
In the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, PSG secured a narrow 1-0 victory, giving them an advantage heading into the return fixture.
Second Leg: PSG 2–1 Arsenal (Aggregate: 3–1)
The second leg took place on May 7, 2025, at Parc des Princes. PSG extended their aggregate lead with goals from Fabián Ruiz in the 27th minute and Achraf Hakimi in the 72nd minute. Arsenal managed to pull one back through Bukayo Saka in the 76th minute, but it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit. PSG’s 2-1 win on the night secured a 3-1 aggregate victory, propelling them into the Champions League final.
This result marked the end of Arsenal’s Champions League campaign for the 2024–25 season, while PSG advanced to face Inter Milan in the final scheduled for May 31 in Munich.
